So. This account started nowhere and it went. . . nowhere, in terms of response.

When I do something, I do it with an intention or goal in mind. When I undertook this effort, I did so with the knowledge that I would write and publish one hundred posts. I also undertook this effort with a goal in mind, a Return On Investment, or R.O.I. With the publication of one hundred posts this effort has a R.O.I. of zero. Not one response to anything published. I accept the burden of blame for the resulting failure. Perhaps I should have approached this effort differently – used it as so much of Social Media is used: as a bully pulpit. I chose not do so and I can live with the apparent failure of this effort.

With that I wish you well and say, simply: see you around.

THE ESTES PARK TRAIL-GAZETTE, which is owned by Alden Global Capital, recently laid off a third of its editorial staff. Given the newspaper only had three employees not counting the publisher, a third represents a lot for the newspaper.

Of course, IF Alden Global Capital wanted THE ESTES PARK TRAIL-GAZETTE to succeed they would have laid off publisher Michael A. Romero, a proud card-carrying member of The Democratic Party because he contributes nothing to the newspaper except for failure through his regular self-serving editorials in which he lectures the residents of Estes Park, CO.

The Governor of the State of Colorado and Democrat Jared Polis Schutz (also known as Jared Schutz Polis) is taking the effort to recall him seriously, but doing so in way that may be breaking the law: last Wednesday he sent out a request asking for donations to help him fight the recall efforts. But the request for funds comes from his campaign committee – a link to a donation button routes to an ActBlue site for Jared Polis for Colorado, which the governor used during the election season to accept donations: The Polis for Colorado committee, and Polis has not set up a separate campaign finance committee to deal with the recall, according to the Colorado Secretary of State’s campaign finance database.
