We all need to give thanks to God. Some need to do it by calling out in faith for mercy and trust Jesus to save us. Give Him your heart, life and soul as a thanksgiving offering. Some need to humble themselves before God and commit to living a life of thanklessness and live so others can see our thanksgiving. Or perhaps, we just need to take time and truly glorify God with our thanks.

If you ask most people who used to go to church and who now no longer attend, why they quit, it won’t be because they don’t believe in God anymore. It will probably be because they were hurt by a church member. Satan set the a trap, using our pride, our prejudice or even a misunderstanding. That trap is tripped and someone stumbles out of the church and fellowship of the Saints. The result is that all are hurt. The church because they lose the talents, gifts and fellowship of that believer. That hurt believer they lose all that only the church can supply.

The church of Jesus Christ has been given the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. In our Rock, Jesus Christ, we have the power to tear down the Gates of Hell that imprison the lost. We must take up the keys of the Kingdom by preaching the Gospel and with it set the captives free.

When God’s Word is read or the Gospel preached, Jesus is walking by and it is up to us to reach out and, in faith, touch Him. Don’t let a hard heart keep you from experiencing the grace, the wonder and the power of Jesus. Reach out and be made whole. Your broken heart mended, your broken spirit healed, your broken relationship with the Father restored never to be broken again.
