Running water is not a necessity. Electricity is not a necessity. An indoor flush toilet is not a necessity. I am thankful when I have them, but realize that when I do have all of those, I am one of the very richest people who has ever lived on this earth.
We Must Judge Ourselves
1 Corinthians 11:31,32: For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
1 Pet 4:17-18: Because the time has come for judgment to begin, starting with the household of God. And if firstly with us, what will be the fate of those disobeying the gospel of God? And if the righteous person is barely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?

The site of the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah have balls of sulfur. Those cities were destroyed for their homosexuality and other abominations, by fire and sulfur raining down on them, just like the Bible says.
