Day 14 of the mule deer mama and fawn hanging around our property. The mama does a pretty good job of looking out for the fawn and seems to have educated it well on keeping a low profile. As a result, I don't get many photo opportunities, so I take them when I can get them. Today, the fawn had just finished eating and was heading to one of its sleeping/hiding spots in the cool shade underneath a flatbed trailer. I was not able to get outside or I would have spooked them off by opening the front door, so I took this shot through a window in the front of our house.
