Why The Church Has No Power - Part III

"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's
wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith
should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." I
Corinthians 2:4-5

This article shows some of the reasons why the church has no power. In
this article it is assumed that you are saved. In II Timothy 3:1, 5 it
says "1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. .
. . 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such
turn away."

2. Many Are Not Reading From The Holy Bible (Old King James Version Only)
The NIV has 64,098 less words than the KJV(1). Many verses in the KJV have
been omitted entirely from the new versions. Others have been changed
entirely or have been moved from the body of the scripture to mere
footnotes. For those readers who are unaware of this, here are some
examples comparing the King James Version of the Holy Bible (abbreviated
as KJV) with the New International Version (NIV), the New Revised Standard
Version (NRSV) and the New Jerusalem Bible (NJ.

The first example is I John 5:7. This is an example of how the new
versions have eliminated the three Persons of the Trinity.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and
the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (KJV)

For there are three that testify. (NIV)

There are three that testify. (NRSV)

So there are three witnesses. (NJ

The second example is Matthew 18:11. This is an example of how the new
versions are eliminating scriptures.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (KJV)

(This scripture is omitted from the body of text in the NIV. It is
referenced in a footnote).

(This scripture is omitted from the body of text in the NRSV. It is
referenced in a footnote).

(This scripture is omitted from the body of text in the NJB. It is
referenced in a footnote).

The third example is Daniel 3:25. This scripture shows the Son of God,
Jesus, delivering Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fiery furnace.
The other versions twist this scripture and blaspheme God.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of
the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the
Son of God. (KJV)

He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and
unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods." (NIV) (This is
absolute blasphemy).

He replied, "But I see four men unbound, walking in the middle of the
fire, and they are not hurt; and the fourth has the appearance of a god."
(NRSV) (This is also absolute blasphemy).

"But", he went on, "I can see four men walking free in the heart of the
fire and quite unharmed! And the fourth looks like a child of the gods!"
(NJ (This is also absolute blasphemy).

We don’t have the space to fully discuss this issue in this book. For more
information on the subject, I encourage you to read a book by G.A.
Riplinger titled "New Age Bible Versions" (copyright 1993, ISBN
0-9635845-0-2). This book shows how Satan has used these new versions to
change the Word Of God, and how he is deceiving many Christians with these
new versions as he deceived Eve from the beginning.
