At the hospital where Kianna works, there's been cultural tension between the Philippino nurses and the Indian doctors. And between the Indian doctors and their Philippino patients. And when I say cultural tension, I mean R-A-C-I-S-M allegations. The poor white hospital staff have nothing to do with these occasionally violent confrontations . . . but they're worried that somewhere if there's racism brought up . . . they'll get blamed for it somehow.
