Though I have come to bring you a more abundant life, your experience in the physical world can, at times, be anything but. In fact, it can often be dark, painful, and heartbreaking. Just as severe injury commonly leaves scar tissue on your body, traumatic experiences can leave scars on your psyche. Wounds of abandonment and betrayal, mental and physical abuse, the loss of a loved one, physical illness, broken dreams; all scar your soul leaving spiritual ashes of mourning. Beloved, in this life, you will have trouble, but take heart, for I have been sent to bring the Good News of deliverance and salvation; to bind up the brokenhearted, to bring hope to the hopeless, and to replace your ashes with a crown of beauty. As the ashes fall away, the beauty of My glory and redemption will shine forth through all your brokenness, bringing healing and restoration for your sorrow and grief. My beloved child, bring your hurts to me and receive healing; bring your ashes, and receive beauty.
~ The Ruach of Adonai Elohim is on me, because Adonai has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,… to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of Adonai, that He may be glorified.
