HEDGE OF FIRE DEVOTIONAL

Bring to mind and consider for a moment the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. Though related, they were distinct families that lived harmoniously together in community, just as I designed for them to do. As it was then, so it remains today. My desire is that My children love each other, and live symbiotically and in unity. A family in harmony teaches and learns together; they exchange knowledge, and by passing down wisdom from generation to generation, they continually benefit and bless those who come after them. I have instilled within you a strong desire for community because families function best when they are together and bearing one another’s burdens. By one coming to the aid and assisting another, the entire family is made stronger. For just as a man might overpower him who is alone, two can resist him, and a three-stranded cord is not easily broken. Therefore, in congeniality and love, endeavor to build community with those who I have placed within your circle, for so it is in My Kingdom.
~ All those trusting in Yeshua stayed together and had everything in common; in fact, they sold their property and possessions and distributed the proceeds to all who were in need. Continuing faithfully and with singleness of purpose to meet in the Temple courts daily, and breaking bread in their several homes, they shared their food in joy and simplicity of heart… Acts 2:44-46
