What were you doing last night during the power outage?
Were you missing your favorite TV show or reading a book by candle light? Trying to finish your document on the last bit of battery in your laptop? The ladies washing their last bit of dishes in the fading light from outside. What did I hear my mom say as she was washing her dishes? HEY THE LIGHTS IN THE KITCHEN WENT OUT!! but why is the living room still on? My first response is the power went out. It totally blew her mind. My investment is paying off. I walked out to the dark garage and turned on the lights. Walked back to the generator and turned it on. Turned on my backup water system and sat back down to watch TV with my father. So why are you surviving an emergency in the dark? It does not take a genius to do what I did.
