Preparing this week's Sunday school lesson I was struck by its application to my daily life. We are in Exodus and Moses is preparing to lead his people out of bondage. They are being treated extremely harshly by the Pharaoh who does not recognize the authority of their God (large G) since he considers himself to be god (small g).
Today we have people in authority exercising dominion over us treating the country very harshly. They also are attempting to remove any mention of God from our government and are becoming more and more aggressive toward Christians. This is not a POLITICAL battle, but a SPIRITUAL battle.
We have to be in prayer, need to be witnessing and testifying to strengthen other followers and reaching out for more converts. As with the Pharaoh, God will move against them when the time is right. His timing is always perfect.
