Who Is Mystery Babylon? - Part III
"4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with
gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full
of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead
was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of
the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw
her, I wondered with great admiration." Revelation 17:4-6
This article shows us who the Bible calls Mystery Babylon.
3. Mystery Babylon Drunken With The Blood Of The Saints
In Revelation 17:5-6 it says "5 And upon her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and
with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered
with great admiration." In verse 5 the Bible calls Mystery Babylon the
mother of harlots (refer to our post titled "The One World Religion Is
Here" for more details). In verse 6 we see Mystery Babylon "Drunken with
the blood of the saints." During the Inquisition "From 1200 to 1808,
unspeakable tortures and death stalked the Catholic world, with 68 million
victims.(note 5)" During this time period many Bible-believing Christians
were killed by the Catholics.
In closing, as we look at the location, the unique colors and a history of
killing Bible-believing Christians, we can see that The Roman Catholic
Church is Mystery Babylon.
