MIXING HOLY WITH THE PROFANE
Part 1 (Part 2 follows below)
The majority believers have been deceived to believe they worship God in spirit and truth when, in fact, God can do nothing BUT REJECT THEIR WORSHIP.
Ezekiel 22:26 “Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.”
Today’s church and the vast majority of believers today are mixing the profane and holy and clean with unclean, while being erroneously deceived to believe God sees nothing wrong with it, despite the fact that God, Himself, says IT IS SIN. Let’s take a look at what happened with Nadab and Abihu:
Leviticus 10:1-2 "And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD."
Does God’s response surprise you? These are not fairytale stories brothers and sisters. Clearly, this was a serious offence to God. Nadab and Abihu had been accepted by God and held high positions among His people (Exodus 24:9-11). God commanded that everything used in making sacrifices had to be HOLY. Nadab and Abihu decided to bring censers with “common fire” (kindled by themselves instead of using HOLY FIRE from the altar). Didn’t God “KNOW” their hearts? God is the ONLY one who knows the thoughts of man (1 Cor. 2:11). It was that Old Serpent who DECEIVED them to believe God would accept ANY FORM of worship – that God’s standards/rules didn’t really matter. To DISOBEY God’s ordinances and standards, IS A GREAT SIN. God NEVER changes, so what God demands in worship is still true today. Worshipping God on dates appropriated by pagan worship, setting up/preparing pagan instruments and/or using pagan symbols in celebration to God; etc. -- MIXING PROFANE with HOLY -- CLEAN with UNCLEAN – IS A GREAT SIN. GOD REJECTS SUCH WORSHIP.
Exodus 34:14 “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” God will not accept sharing pagan/occult dates/idols/symbols in any way, shape or form in our worship to Him – the ONE Great I Am!
Directly after Adam and Even sinned, God ordained the sacrifice of an animal to atone for the sins of people. Able followed God’s ordinance by offering a "firstling of his flock and the fat thereof." Cain, on the other hand, “thought” he could worship God the way HE WANTED, and offered fruit; thereby directly DISOBEYING God’s ordinance (Genesis 4:3-5). What happened? God REJECTED Cain's offering.
