All things considered, everybody on the set of Alec Baldwin's movie shoot should have been wearing body armor. Case-in-Point: Even Deadwood Bounty Hunters re-enactors won't shoot blanks aimed at a person. A blank has a high black powder charge but only a wax 'bullet' to keep the powder charge in place. At close range, that wax bullet can kill or maim anybody.
