'It's a victory for the constitution,' AG Yost reacts to Supreme Court ruling. COVID-19 vaccination mandate for 80 million workers could lead to a “permanent crisis” in which nationwide mandates are imposed unconstitutionally, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost argued last Friday.
Ohio led oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court last Friday challenging the Occupational Health & Safety Administration emergency rule for businesses with 100 or more employees to be vaccinated or tested weekly, and to wear face masks.
“This case is not about the wisdom of mandates — or, excuse me, not about the wisdom of vaccines,” Yost said. “This case is about the law.” #scotus
