In my humble digestion (continuous reading, evolving interpretation) of scripture (feel free to nicely call me out) - it appears that "Jews" were the inventors of "racism" as they kept identifying themselves (familiar with the old testament quoting god) as "chosen people" (but later it seems apparent that they would identify) that "gentiles" (non Jew, the uncircumcised, etc) were basically lesser than them, so they actually couldn't worship our god. It took Christ's arrival and teachings (with MAJOR follow up by Paul) to squelch this incorrect belief and allow everyone to worship our God in Heaven. (had to update initial post)
