In 2020, amid social upheaval and international pandemic, I had a novel published that tried to envision the United States around 40 years from now.
The goal was to craft a story that was set 40 years after Roe v. Wade was overturned, in a United States where abortion is universally opposed.
While some like to go toward the dystopian, and others toward the utopian, I wanted to make my speculative fiction political thriller as realistic as possible.
