๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐Ÿ‘‰ CNNโ€™s ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ claimed he was โ€œsurprisedโ€ to see no national media coverage of the โ€œdamageโ€ done to childrenโ€™s mental health and learning development due to the Covid lockdowns.

In a segment on โ€œ๐—–๐—ก๐—ก ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜โ€ Friday discussing the Covid fallout with RINO Jeb Bush, Tapper realized the shocking decline in childrenโ€™s development due to the COVID lockdowns was not being discussed by the mainstream media.

โ€œI have to say Iโ€™m surprised that there hasnโ€™t been a national conversation about the damage done to kids because of these school closures and the virtual learning,โ€ ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†.

โ€œIโ€™m not saying there should be a national do-over, but we canโ€™t just pretend that fifth graders who are now seventh graders โ€” that that didnโ€™t happen.โ€

โ€œI feel like there should be and not with a blame gameโ€ฆlook, it happened,โ€ Tapper said. โ€œPeople did it, it was criticized โ€“ the school closures, the virtual learning, etc โ€“ but here we are. But there needs to be a bipartisan movement, you know?โ€

Data revealing the COVID lockdowns had devastating effects on children has become so compelling and alarming that even media figures like Tapper are being forced to talk about it on air.

โ€œAverage scores for age 9 students in 2022 declined 5 points in reading and 7 points in mathematics compared to 2020,โ€ the Department of Education claimed in a recent report.

โ€œThis is ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿฌ, and the first ever score decline in mathematics.โ€
