I live in one of the few Congressional Districts whom Trump carried whose seat flipped between a Republican to a Democrat. This is the Washington state 3rd Congressional District. The ballot count is complete and Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez has 2,695 more vote than Conservative Republican Joe Kent. Joe Kent supporters want to pay for a recount, but it's not likely to overturn the results since they would be mostly counting the same ballots. Sure there could be election fraud, but unlike some other races, I don't know if there is enough to prove it. The Democrats spent a bunch of money to defeat Kent and claim he is too extreme. I don't see what's extreme about being against abortion. Kent did say he would fight to protect social security. There was scrutiny over items that don't matter much such as the name of the company that Kent worked at. Perez claims that she is a moderate Independent voice, but she is a Democrat who will be under enormous pressure to vote with the Democrats on key issues. She has not come out against the unconstitutional Equality Act. At least the Republicans gained enough seats to get the majority, so the Equality Act won't come up to a vote in the next Congress unless 218 members, which would have to include some Republicans, sign a discharge petition to force a floor vote. Too many voters in this Congressional District refused to blame the Democrats for high inflation and didn't seem to mind the open borders with increasing crime and fetanyl use.
