Matthew 6:23

2 Timothy 3:13
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2 Timothy 3:13 definitely proves why Peter and the other apostles said We ought to obey God rather than men. Those men specifically are the evil men the Apostle Paul himself wrote and spoke of in 2 Timothy 3:13 who wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived in other words they are the false apostle apostles of 2 Corinthians 11:13 who work for Abaddon the devil himself.
