Derbyshire-based bridal designer, Susanna Greening, is a such business.

I adore Susanna's handmade, luxurious, free-spirited gowns – they provided an ideal style with this sweet editorial captured at the new Derbyshire countryside wedding venue, Stretton Manor Barn.

The mood with this editorial was soft modern romance having a touch of whimsy brought along with some of East Midlands' best wedding suppliers. The ideas are extremely translatable there is plenty to steal for your personal!

Words in the designer herself follow….

"Marianne from Frances Rose made a gorgeous English summer garden feel utilizing a mix of pale pastels, spring tones, and pops of blue and peachy orange to create the styling accents. The styling encompassed delicate springtime flowers inside a modern romantic color pattern."

"Tara Knott styled the venue beautifully using soft blues that highlighted the shades in the florals and added beautiful hand calligraphy stationery from Wild Calligraphy. All stationary and signage from Wild Calligraphy were eco-conscious-consciously blue cotton rag place cards were produced from 100% recycled fibers and glass bottles were repurposed for that seating plan and filled with them with lots of fresh blooms to become cohesive with the remainder of the decor. Tara styled a sensational cake table having a beautiful cake and treats from Storybook Cakes with gorgeous candles and florals. "

"The dresses featured were pieces from my collection ‘Blossom’ featuring luxurious fabrics offering beautiful modern romance. The stunning 3D floral lace from the Betula lace wedding dress worked beautifully using the seasonal blossoms we showcased within the table displays and asymmetric archway. Betula is a sensational strapless full-length gown produced from an exquisite 3D floral lace using the addition from the removable sleeves, it's the epitome of contemporary romance."

"The second dress featured was Holly, a higher low hem style inside a 100% silk organza with polka dot detail. The straps are tied in bows to complete the look perfectly. All dresses are created to order during my beautiful Derbyshire-based studio and may be tailored for your exact requirements."

"Helen Sutcliffe styled Emily's hair developing a romantic, youthful, and fun textured ponytail which was an ideal pairing for that dress and venue, along with a current favorite for upcoming brides. With adding a tied ribbon, the design and style worked perfectly with Emily's long thick hair to showcase the gown, but keep the appearance soft and feminine."

"Emily's makeup was made by Josephine Way in a delicate natural way having a sleek winged eye. The shoes were from Charlotte Mills, the Henrietta inside a dusky pink with pearl detailing which complimented the Lilley Studio pearl earrings perfectly."

"Lou from Rather Lovely Films made a gorgeous video in the day showing the beauty from the venue on the lovely sunny day and all sorts of the modern fairytale vibes showcased within the edit by concentrating on the romance between your couple."

"Magda was the photographer for that shoot and captured the styling and elements from the day so well."
