BEWARE THESE HATE SPEECH LAWS WILL USED AGAINST ALL THOSE WHO TRULY FOLLOW CHRIST
In these times I am ever reminded of Matthew 24 but in part verse 21-22; for then there will be a great oppression such as not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor will ever be. Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.
The followers of Christ are already the most persecuted in this fallen world and the persecution of Christ followers is definitely going to get a lot worse as stated by Christ Himself.
To whom are your eyes looking upon, a man / men or Christ Jesus????
"A person repents when he comes to the place where he discovers that the will of God is the government of his life and the glory of God is the reason for his life. He only has repented who has changed his mind about his reason for being." - Paris Reidhead
"You can draw near to God even though you cannot say a word. A prayer may be crystallised in a tear. A tear is enough water to float a desire to God." - Charles H. Spurgeon
"A prayerless soul is a Christless soul. Prayer is the lisping of the believing infant, the shout of the fighting believer, the requiem of the dying saint falling asleep in Jesus. It is the breath, the watchword, the comfort, the strength, the honour of a Christian"
- Charles H. Spurgeon
"Prayer is so simple. It is like quietly opening a door and slipping into the very presence of God. There, in the stillness, to listen to His voice, perhaps in petition or only to listen. It matters not. Just to be there in His presence is prayer."
- Author unknown
"The only right a Christian has is the right to give up his rights."
- Oswald Chambers
"I have now concentrated all my prayers into one, and that one prayer is this: that I may die to self, and live wholly to him."
- Charles H. Spurgeon
It is not our business to make the message acceptable, but to make it available. We are not to see that they like it, but that they get it." -Dr. Vance Havner
A man who spoke little English gave this description of a sermon he had heard: he said 'Big wind. Much lightning. Loud thunder. No rain!'" - Unknown
I can say that I never knew what joy was like until I gave up pursuing happiness, or cared to live until I chose to die. For these two discoveries I am beholden to Jesus.
- Malcolm Muggeridge
Isn't it staggering when you think that one sermon on the day of Pentecost produced 3000 people? And we had some cities yesterday where 3000 sermons were preached and nobody was saved. And it doesn't even faze us.
