In 2009, the Tea Party Movement took the country by storm. We petitioned our Federal Government against tax increases; regulation strangulation; mandatory purchases of health insurance; and so many other freedom-losing rules impacting us as American citizens. We marched on DC and we helped Conservatives get elected to Congress. And then in 2016, we sent a businessman to DC as the 45th President of the United States and wished him well in draining the swamp.

We thought we could get back to business locally and then we discovered… while we were keeping our Eye on DC, our local government entities were having a heyday with our tax dollars and our own swamp needed draining.

We found out that some people were treated better than others. Some got special deals and others didn’t. And if you were in a certain “clique” – you got special treatment. In fact, a lot of city government decisions reminded us of our high school
