Homemade Granola
6 C. old fashioned oats
1/2 c coconut
1/4 c sesame seeds
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c of raisins or dried cranberries or both
1/2 c of Nuts for each type. ..whatever type you like. i do pecans, almonds, walnuts generally
if there are other types of things you like in granola do so. the dried fruit is best added at the last 10 minutes of baking.
1/2c + honey or other sweetener.
1/2 c oil. i use coconut or olive oil generally
1T. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t.cloves and allspice each.
mix liquids together.
mix dry ingredients together. pour liquids over dry ingredients. mix well. Put on oiled jelly roll pan.
bake at250f for 20 minutes
then stir granola every 5 minutes for 30 minutes till golden brown. pull out of oven. stir every few minutes as it cools. put in a container with a lid yum .

So this is for those of you who are interested in baking..bread of all kinds. Cookies cakes and all that yummy stuff. I have just finished making a couple of multigrain sourdough bread loaves. they smell so good and are fun to make. lots of work tho.
