Today I decided to rearrange my wine cellar and while doing so, I came across this wine, the 1998 BV Cabernet Sauvignon - Coastal. I am really dying to know if the wine held up or not because I have never thought of BV's Coastal line as being their serious line of wine. I always looked at them as a drink now series of wines but I am about to find out right now what is going on with this wine, wish me luck.
The 2018 Michael Mondavi "Oberon" Cabernet Sauvignon. $20 a bottle and tastes like a $100 bottle of Cabernet. Absolutely amazing folks. If you like REAL Cabernet and not the jammy, fruit forward kids stuff, this is for you.
The 2009 Doffo. Unfiltered Syrah is simply amazing. If you guys still have it in your wine cellar, I HIGHLY recommend you hold it for a special occasion because it is amazing and still has lots of life left to it if stored properly.
