Subject: RE: Case# 0192847375: Appealing an account suspension - @DerrickLau18 [ ref:_00DA0K0A8._5004w25dNg7:ref ]

I was NOT using multiple Twitter accounts for abusive purposes. I was protesting tech companies (such as Twitter) for hiring practices that favored non US citizens. My original account, @Derrick_Lau, NEVER broke any Twitter rules but it was suspended for no reason, forcing me to open this account.

Do NOT accuse people of being abusive without providing evidence. There are still constitutional and charter rights that your fascist management hasn’t been able to get rid of yet. If you are going to accuse me of leveraging Twitter for abusive purposes, then provide the tweets of evidence.

Lastly, Twitter is the most abusive social media platform out there. There are so many tweets with the hashtag #chinavirus that make bigoted remarks and encourage racial discrimination against people of Chinese and Asian descent, and despite my reporting of those accounts, they never get cancelled.

Clearly you are NOT about free speech and are pushing a political agenda.

Hello,

We’re writing to let you know that your account has been suspended—and will remain suspended—for violating our ban evasion rules.

Circumventing a Twitter suspension, enforcement action, or anti-spam challenge is a violation of the Twitter Rules. This includes:

• operating, or having someone else operate on your behalf, an account which represents your identity, persona, brand or business persona for a different purpose;
• allowing someone who has been permanently suspended from Twitter to permanently take over or temporarily operate your account;
• imitating a suspended account if the apparent intent is to replace a suspended account; and
• any behavior intended to evade any Twitter remediation, such as creating a new account or repurposing an already-existing account.

If an account has been permanently suspended for severe violations of the Twitter Rules, Twitter reserves the right to also permanently suspend any other account we believe the same account holder or entity may be operating in violation of our earlier suspension, regardless of when the other account was created.

Please do not reply to this message as this email address is not monitored.

Thanks,

I am rejecting this response because:

I do not recall ever sending a tweet that would violate Twitter's rules. Yet all these attached racist tweets were sent and these users were not banned. I believe Twitter has suspended my account because I was exposing how big tech companies like Twitter continue to offshore jobs to other nations like India, and refuse to hire within their own country. However, since Twitter's terms of service allow them to ban whomever they want without explanation, at this point I am blocked. I will even go so far as to state that Twitter's terms of service contradict core principles of freedom of speech, and I will even go further and state that throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Twitter allowed millions of racist tweets against ethnic Chinese to be posted, and none of those users received any reprimand.

I will see about making this complaint public as well as exposing more of Twitter's hypocracy.

Sincerely,

Derrick Lau
