I'm a professional balloon twister who is struggling with all this social distancing. I used to be able to thrive with my balloon skills alone. I'm barely surviving working for others. I'm grateful to have a day job working in retail, but it's not the same. The town I'm in is a decent little town but with one of the highest crime rates, it's a town divided. The true Christ follower with a servant's heart is often stuck between CINOs (Christians in name only) and tweakers who will steal anything for a fix. It's sad because if you're walking down the street and greet almost anybody, they ignore you, if they don't know you. The Church going average person ignores you because one is probably homeless or a tweaker or both. The tweaker or average Joe that might be a vagabond ignores one because you're probably a cop or green bean to them in the past.

What a sad paraphrase of our society, in this little town.
Even though I'd like to leave, where would I go. California is where I'm from, and the government has gone completely tyranical with support of the media and the zombMee followers. Very few places are open like we are here in Ada. I desire connection, but the powers that be are successfully stifling that.
I have wonderful people around me, but I'm still missing the crucial social life in The Holy Spirit.
As desperate as I may sound, I'M NOT. I'm picky and I know my worth.

I hope everyone had a great Independence Day. I have one more thing to do. Something I discovered from a flier on my porch this morning. 4th of July celebration at the 1st Baptist Church. I'll walk there, and do balloons. I'll see how that goes, as our Churches are slowly opening up.

Don't sing in California. Your King Gavin decrees! I say sing like you've never sung before!
