Here is a tool for our students to use in calculating fire danger using skills they already have mastery of using the same skills and instruments the NFS uses; sling psychrometer, wind meter, analog barometer, inclinometer, compass, and their brain. Our pre-adolescent and adolescent students learn the same skills as they would in college or on the job.
