I have received friend requests from a number of young women, and I am sure some have simply been looking for friends. But I have had to explain to several that I am 66 years old, a retired pastor, and am VERY happily married. And I have had to continue that I had NO interest in any “extracurricular activities”. And funny, I have not heard from any of them again.
I am more than happy to have young people to chat with, and I enjoy it. But I also avoid snares and stay on guard all the time.
