I tend to post keto because I eat Keto. Other recipes are welcome!!
Keto Chili
1 TBSP Coconut Oil
2-3 pounds of ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
4 cloves garlic chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 jalapeño chopped (may use 1 4oz can green chiles)
2 tsp oregano
2-3 bay leaves
2 TBSP Chili powder or to taste
1 tsp black pepper
1 TBSP Worstershire
2 tsp cumin
Broth as needed up to 2 cups
Salt to taste
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 15oz canned diced tomatoes, fresh may be used
Low heat. Chop fresh items, add coconut oil to pot, when hot add garlic. cook for one minute, Add other fresh items and cook till flavors release. Add herbs. Then add beef. Brown meat. Add tomatoes and paste. Add broth as needed to your consistency. Simmer for several hours adding broth as needed.
Top with sour cream, cheese, green onions. Serve with Keto "corn" bread.
Note: mine is in the long simmer process in pic. I used the whole 32 oz container of broth. I used a low Sodium Chicken.
