I think this conversation between Hawkeye and Cora from the movie “Last of The Mohicans” explains the dichotomy between Conservatives and Liberals... we have each had different education, experiences and information provided to us, so it is hard to bridge the gap because it requires us to look at things through a different lens/different perspective. I understand the viewpoint of the liberals, but also see its flaws. The liberals have been indoctrinated to believe that their concepts are valid and Conservative values are flawed. However, they approach almost everything from an emotional basis, rather than an intellectual one and you cannot debate “emotions” with logic...
