1 Timothy 1:15
"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost."
The word of God is always trustworthy and acceptable. The Bible is the story regarding the redemption of man which has been provided in Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His body on the cross for the sins of the world. He came for the express purpose of saving sinners, of which we have all been classified as such. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." This defines all of humanity as guilty before God and condemned. Jesus Christ is the only solution to man's condemnation, for "there is but One Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus."
