How COVID19 infected people feel when they see another Dr and Nurse TikTok video of them doing the coffin dance and the overplayed COVID shuffle. Yes, many people are dying and perhaps healthcare workers are immensely overworked and always have been, but don't act like you need to boost morale with a dance or fancy costume masks. The optics aren't pretty for anyone on the outside looking in.
Two things can be true. Any crisis is an opportunity for those who want power to solidify it, and the crisis could be blown out of proportion with the media's help. Granted I'm not telling you to not wear a mask or not to follow the CDC's recommendations, that's for you to decide.
But every discarded mask on the street not deposited in a biohazard dump solidifies my belief that we are playing a game someone else created and they're winning at this casino of life because they own the casino and design the rules to favor them while spying on us like we will cheat at life while they cheat us.
I'm done playing. I'm like the preacher outside of the casino ranting about the evils of gambling while the gamblers inside remain blissfully unaware. The gamblers outside shake their head at me like I'm crazy.
People are already regretting their "hate Trump vote" with the removal of countless opportunities for union workers and removal of more freedoms. I'll be fine either way. I'll have a backup plan as I always do.
