There is an apathy in today's church. We are called more than conquerors, yet many who call themselves Christians are living a daily life in defeat.
Jesus came not only to save but to set free, in order to be set free you must learn about Spiritual Warfare. This is why Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
When you realize that your troubles come from the spiritual side, only then can you be empowered to overcome and have the freedom that He came to bring.
God Promised Moses that He would deliver His people to the promised land. It was Joshua who lead the people out of the wilderness.
