This change is for good. Some people are calling it gene therapy. I will give it a MORE accurate name: gene altering injection. Because it changes your genes; the word “therapy” makes it sound good; and the word “jab” makes it sound like it's not much, so I use the word “injection.” (Pic on left is after the injection; on right is healthy blood.)
