Although commercial space tourists have visited the space station before, these flights would be the first commercial manned flights on an American spacecraft to the American section of the space station. It will be interesting to see how much of a role this plays in proposed future commercial utilization of the space station in the years to come as the government seeks an exit strategy for ISS.
