My husband and I were preppers. Nothing crazy like you saw on that tv show, but we were prepared with a year's worth of food, water, ability to heat our home and ample ways to protect our stockpile. Now I have unexpectedly become a widow and given up on surviving SHTF. I mean, I couldn't defend it anyway by myself.
