It is said that every good thing comes to an end. As a gardener it is hard to say goodbye to the year's garden. I am fortunate to have the opportunity for extended seasons in a greenhouse. The last of the outdoor garden's sweet potatoes were harvested yesterday. Today the final strawberries and cucumbers from the greenhouse (High Tunnel). This coming week all will get their compost, fertilizers where needed, and put to rest until the furnace is installed and we can begin again. (Solar Evacuation Tubes are not enough to keep 5000 sq ft warm)
