LET NOTHING STEAL YOUR JOY - 16th March 2019.
The devastating incident in New Zealand yesterday could cause us to go deep into despair, to fear, to doubt in GOD BUT when you KNOW the word of GOD you KNOW that this is not by His hand. A depraved mind is not the mind of GOD, a rebellious heart is not the heart of GOD. We have been given a free will by GOD, we can choose to do good or to do evil.
What seems right to man.....Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
What does this young man lose in making this his choice ? Probably his very life but far more important than this is the loss of his soul, eternal separation from GOD !
And all those who lost their lives ? One day we will all stand before GOD Who has mercy upon Whom He has mercy.
Romans 9
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with GOD? GOD forbid. 15 For He saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of GOD that shows mercy.
We despair with You GOD for these senseless killings and pray for the many breaking hearts today to find comfort and strength in the presence of GOD.
