Long ago I was thought to be somewhat of an odd person. Odd, in that, I wasn't easily convinced that being a Democrat was a good thing for America. If memory serves, this was around 1973 and about six months after I came home from my second combat tour of Vietnam. I was in the Navy as I had volunteered to go.
In the Navy I was working in what is called electronic counter measures and electronic warfare. That meant I needed a high security clearance which, at the time, I didn't realize the burden that knowledge would be once I got out with a non-disclosure agreement signed, sealed and delivered.
That war, I will say now, was as much with China as it was Vietnam. I won't say any more than that but this is what I had to keep my mouth shut about all these years.
I decided, last year, to write a blog about those things I consider important and, surprise, surprise that blog became more popular than I ever thought it would. https://oddtc.com is the name and it is kind of a catharsis for me to aim both barrels at the ones who hated me then and hate me now. I am not one who bends to pressure so I go for it in as much style and lack of cussing as it takes. I hope you enjoy the blog and, no, I am not a professional writer.
