It's not certain, but the idea "it just can't" is BS and with non-cowardly people acting, such things can happen. It won't if the cowards do nothing, but there is hope.
When the non-socialist break off it is devastating for the socialists because so many are on welfare and produce nothing. So in producing nothing, they can't pay for infrastructure and it comes back to 2nd grade economics. The socialist areas will collapse and be an example of how the reality of tax production VS tax consumption become evident to anyone with an IQ over 20.
Eastern Washington needs to step up too.
