Jeremiah 29:11-13 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
God honors free will. It’s terrifying and beautiful. Terrifying when we choose death but beautiful when in the face of being allowed to choose evil we choose life and goodness and that choice comes out of a pure heart that’s honest and real.
We’re not forced to choose God we’re invited. We’re invited into His love we’re not forced to love Him back we’re just invited to love Him back. His love He gives freely even though He doesn’t have to He chooses to love us. And He honors our free will, our choice to either love Him back or reject Him.
No matter what mistakes we made, no matter how far off the path we’ve gone, at any given moment we can turn to Him. And He can turn that place we’re in into something beautiful. That mess into a piece of artwork. And we can look back and say, “How could this have ever happened if I would've been there.”
Because that’s how good He is. He does have plans and purposes for each and every one of us. Even if we make the wrong choices. The moment we turn to Him and choose Him He says, “I have plans for this mess you’re in.”
He always looking at us waiting for us to turn to Him. Over and over He’s always offering us the chance to turn and let Him prosper us and give us hope and a future. Especially when it looks like we’re going into hopelessness. He always has the ability to redeem it as soon as you turn to Him. It says, “If you seek me with your heart you will find me.”
I thank you, Father God, that you are true to your promises, that your Word is truth. That if we indeed seek you with our hearts we will find you. I pray you reveal yourself to us who are seeking you, Lord God. I pray that you show up in our lives in a mighty way. I pray we feel your presence and and your encouragement and love. I pray for fearless belief and faith that you will turn our mess into a masterpiece. Thank you in Jesus name.
