Helloo My Conservative Friends,
Just moved into a new place in a new city, looking forward to a new beginning and keeping my eye on the ball.
Funny incident occurred last week, I was trying to drop off some things to a local Thrift Store and as I drove in I noticed a sign saying they were not taking donations at this time. Okay, if I had a truck load or some heavy items or a lot of stuff, I would have turned around and not bothered going in, but as I only had two small bags of very light and small individualized items, I felt confident I could complete my desire to donate. When I approached the young lad behind the sign to drop off my offering, he studiously demanded I not leave the items and that if I do so, he would have to film me littering, which apparently carried a $1000.00 fine. I was going to begin a sarcastic encounter with this man, sadly I get some enjoyment from interactions of this kind, but before I could say my piece another employee came and told me I could take the items to another local thrift store just down the road. I thanked the older gentleman and left. Bewildered at the snowflakes, this is Canada though, but such snowflakes that exist now in the form of living beings brings sorrow to my heart for those who will be survived by this fragile generation.
