With the killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, we are learning of more inaction on the part of Barack Obama. I always believed that once Obama was out of government, we would learn of more and more details of his inability to protect citizens of the United States of America.
During his administration, American citizen Kayla Mueller was captured in Syria while on a humanitarian mission. Mueller was tortured, raped, enslaved and later murdered on order from Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Mueller’s family was extremely critical of how the Obama administration handled their daughter’s captivity. In 2016, Mueller’s father Carl said, “The president could have been a hero, but he chose not to.” Carl Mueller exposed Obama for the fraud that he is by outing him over his failure to make a promised charity donation in Kayla Mueller’s name.
The Muellers said the Obama White House threatened them with criminal prosecution when they attempted to negotiate a ransom with ISIS.
The Muellers accused Obama of making the entire matter worse by arranging a famously lopsided prisoner swap to secure the release of American deserter Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from the Afghan Taliban because the deal inspired ISIS to increase its demands for releasing its own hostages. Carl Mueller said Obama’s eagerness to recover Bergdahl while refusing to allow a ransom to be paid for Kayla was “pretty hard to take.”
Obama was repeatedly indecisive and delayed to act after receiving information on the location of Mueller, James Foley and Steven Sotloff. By the time Bayrack had authorized a rescue mission, they had all been moved. All three were eventually murdered by ISIS.
Kayla Mueller was killed in the city of Raqqa, the Syrian capital of the ISIS “caliphate,” in February 2015.
Never forget Kayla Mueller, but also never forget the “Elegant Do-Nothing” Barack Hussein Obama, the worst president in the history of the United States of America.
