Given the growing amount of big tech offshoring to India, I firmly believe India is on a certain path to becoming the number one military and economic superpower on this planet:

The list goes on and on, but the point is, with the large scale transition of high tech knowledge work traditionally done in the USA to India, there is ample opportunity for India's citizens to learn the technology, leave the US companies and form their own high tech companies in India.  Just like made in Japan electronics went from low quality jokes to middle class brand names like Toshiba, Hitachi and Sony, India's technology companies like HCL, InfoSys, and future India startups will become the brand names in the technology world, surpassing their ancestors like IBM, Microsoft and Google.

Despite all this, there are still cultural elements that the government of India must deal with in order to cement India's rapid rise to superpower status.  The greatest of this is the rape problem:

Now arguably every nation has a rape problem, especially in their penitentiaries, but if citizens in India are using COVID-19 as an excuse to view online child porn, then we see a population that isn't fully focused on economic prosperity, and perhaps very frustrated with some of the changes brought in by the BJP and Modhi government.  This hit to morale may slow workers from achieving their full potential, perhaps leading to mishaps such as:

Such setbacks would slow any country's rise to power.

Look at China: the military dictatorship there didn't educate its people and let them eat bats and other shithole cuisines while they enjoyed steak and lobster; now the country is imploding due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the dictatorship's greed and selfishness.  If India doesn't educate its masses on the dangers of child pornography and rape, then it too will be doomed to repeat China's collapse.
