The Story Setting
Steeped ever and intrigue, the magnificent 17th-century property of is referred to as 'Unique in Europe because the most complete survival of 17th Century fashion and power'.
In our story, we get you back in time to celebrate the increasing power and equality of ladies, an underlying cause championed by some of our recent Royal Brides. Elizabeth Murray is just one of the women whose contribution continues to be celebrated through the National Trust within their 'Women and Power' exhibition.
The Dresses
There is a couture story here, two 'real life' designer brides with extremely specific ideas, which perfectly reflected their personalities, just as if ought to be when it comes to using a dress designed on the 'bespoke' grounds for you.
Danni's ivory architectural a line wedding dresses partly relies on modern culture but are mostly a collaboration by which we progressed through multiple iterations before coming to the final version of the dress. The clean lines, crisply pleated zibeline, deep slouchy pockets, and one of the longest trains I've available were exact reflections of the bride's vision.
Beckie's champagne soft crepe gown was her design, having a classic sweetheart neckline, offset by super-modern side straps along with a detachable train.
The column silhouette from the dress was lightweight and simple to wear. Every ivory appliqué was carefully considered and personally placed with this very thoughtful and discerning bride. Her eye for detail was exceptional and she or was a joy to utilize. Click
The Photography
Just for a big day, choosing the best style of photography for that setting was vital – in this instance, we desired to capture the incredible presence of the extraordinary space.
The day was planned carefully to chase the sunshine, therefore the East facing staircase was used in the morning, to create the most from the soft, late summer, morning sunshine.
The Look
Captivating areas were skilfully chosen by a stylist, whose flawless wedding ceremony planning and beautiful design are reflected in her luxury style. Working closely with the designer and photographer, everything was considered, as well as on-point using the concept.
The photo shoot was an utterly original hybrid, propelled by sheer force of creative will, encompassing a distinctive but dark historic space, two completely different, strong, and regal-looking brides, a genuine National Trust theme, and flowers that have been unknown until that morning. Alex brought the entire concept together in a single inspiring story.
All pieces were built with a regal, turn to them – statement tiaras and dramatic veils.
Hair and make-up by Ann Marie brought the turn to life, with bold, fashionable glossy lips and smoky eyes.
She also understood my desire to not just replicate the big day make-up of Danni and Beckie. But to provide them different things, a picture of how I saw them, that they might want to hang on the wall in your own home, on the day by which they wore their gown again and tasted background and royalty.
