Under the gorgeous South Dakota sun, Katie Darius married in the dreamy outdoor fall wedding. Keep reading to find out more details about utilizing their special day!

Darius and I met in July 2016 and ultimately were downtown with friends. We were inside a dance club when I asked his friend to bop with my mate, as she thought he was cute. His friend decided to bop together with her if I danced with Darius. The rest is history! Despite him traveling frequently for work and being informally/casually dating on / off for months, we couldn’t stop coming back to each other and made it official in July 2017.

We rented a cabin along with his sisters near our local ski hill in Lead, SD, for Christmas 2020. His family was all there to go out to a pleasing dinner carrying out a day of snowboarding. While we were all taking photos before dinner, his sister slipped him the ring behind my back and the man proposed.

I am familiar with work at David’s Bridal attending school! I’d been following along on Instagram and saw a dress-up costume I had to go to see personally. I went straight in to try it on and didn’t enjoy it. My sales representative, an assistant manager named Paula, pulled other dresses that will be able to try. Once I put my dress on, I never wished to take it off. I knew I had to become!

Don’t use it with any expectations aside from having fun. Keep a balanced view, because frequently brides use using their vision and day something COMPLETELY different! I did.

Our special day was perfect. The weather was sunny and 70 degrees. We live in the Black Hills in South Dakota, and so the fall colors were gorgeous. We got married before an enormous tree which my florist decorated with floral arrangements for that altar.Here

The first plus size wedding dresses were amazing. I was so against one for a long time, but also for time purposes we decided to do one. My husband is NOT a difficult guy, so I had no expectations. He cried plus it made the moment so special.
