Depending on when you change your flight reservation, Spirit Airlines charges a Change fee for both ordinary and award tickets. You must make changes to your reservation within the allotted 24-hour period or at least 60 days prior to travel to avoid paying a change fee. Changing outside of these windows will result in:

• Depending on when you change, you may be charged a change fee that ranges from USD 39 to USD 99. (as shown in the table above).
• If your new flight is more expensive, you will be responsible for the additional fees (such as taxes).
• You will be given a Reservation Credit for future travel if your new flight is less expensive.
• Only the traveller to whom the credit is granted may use the reservation credit.
