Liberty is our Goal.

Today you hear folks saying the word Freedom, and tossing it around like a beach ball. Everyone seems to think that is what they want and deserve, free of charge. But what people don't know or maybe they have forgotten is; what is Freedom and how do I get it Free?

This attitude and lack of respect for Freedom is why I prefer the word LIBERTY. What is Liberty? It IS Freedom, paid by the SACRIFICE of fellow citizens, in time of War or Peace, to provide protection for you to have Freedom.

Watch a young parent couple playing in a park with a todler. They let them run and roll in the grass and do all they want, because the parents are Sacrificing their time and energy to let their child enjoy its' Freedom from anything bad in this world. Basically, they are providing LIBERTY for their young child.

In a time of War, my Uncle was KIA, to provide Liberty, by his Sacrifice, in order for us to have Freedom. My Grandfather was WIA in war and did the same. I have had family serve in times of peace and war to do the same, because of their military service.

The sad truth is, Freedom is not Free. Someone has to Sacrifice for it. That is why I prefer the term LIBERTY. Liberty is Freedom paid for by Sacrifice.

Jesus Christ did that for all the world by dying to pay our sin debt at Calvary. His Sacrifice paid our debt and he arose to present himself to God the Father, as the payment for the sins of the world. The perfect Sacrifice, to give us the Freedom of Salvation, by Faith, thru Grace that is our eternal Liberty we have today in Him.

Remember, Liberty is our goal. And our ultimate Liberty come thru Jesus Christ. His Sacrtifice for our Freedom is our Liberty.
