Being a detective means finding people

Finding people online is not so easy, although it may seem that there is nothing easier. You know this for sure, because, probably, there is no such Internet user who has not searched for information about another person on the Internet at least once in his life. Below you will find some t

What if we do not have complete information about a person? Where to look if someone doesn't have a social media account at all? Will it be possible to create a database of specialists in a certain field when we know only a few people or no one at all? How and where to find people and check their contacts? If you sometimes ask yourself these questions, then this post is for you. Do not know how much is service? You can visit our website for more info.

Where to start looking for people

Before you start your search, remember:

  • open a Word document or some notebook and write everything you find in one place. At first, you will encounter individual bits of information, but you will quickly see that these individual bits often quickly turn into a whole list.
  • collect everything you already know: address, name, date of birth, etc. etc. It's a good idea to start your search for people by collecting what you already know.
  • use as many different sources as possible. The collection of information is based on collecting it from different places - it is unlikely that you will find everything in one place.
Best starting places
search engine

Of course, the first fire (and the first thing that comes to mind) is good old Google. I will not write that this is pointless, because. Google is a powerful tool, but when we enter "anything" we get lost in the results, the search engine will show us 145809000 (or more ;)). Here, remember about advanced search, i.e. or use operators, and if you don't know them, visit  the advanced search page .

People finders

Of course, there are search engines that crawl websites and social networks looking for personal information. It's just that the US is full of them, while the Polish market is different... and, in fact, poor. People seekers come and go. Some work better, some worse.  Provides data in the following areas: photos, social networks, industry contacts, interests, books, music, personal documents, general publications, news, articles and opinions. And I have to admit, it's impressive. Do not know about list of public defenders Ocala? You can visit our website for more info.

social networks

Communities - you know - this is the base of contacts :) The downside is that you need to log in to them (thus becoming part of a huge resource). View all: Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Goldenline, Twitter, Instagram. Remember networks dedicated to specific "professional" groups - I write about them below. LinkedIn offers advanced search - you can narrow down your search using specific criteria, such as location, university, or industry. It is always worth checking the connections of the selected people with other members of the community and their belonging to various groups, which in turn are a storehouse of further contacts, for example, industry ones. There are other sites besides LinkedIn that work in a similar way .

Professionals

There are places on the Internet that are dedicated in one way or another to a certain field or field. Such a database can be a list of employees of a company or a scientific institute, a list of members of an association or foundation.

Such a base will be the base created on the science-polska portal.  People of science  - a  comprehensive source of knowledge about research conducted in Poland, people of science, scientific institutions and fairs, exhibitions and conferences organized in Poland. In the database of scientists, we can find the name and surname, academic degrees and titles, sometimes an email address (if consent was given), the titles of scientific papers, the functions performed, the scientific discipline ... And the e-economics portal, which collects scientific economic sources in Internet, there is a tab  People of Sciences and , so the economist is not a problem;)

Researchers also have "social networks" specifically designed for them - such as  Researc hGate . Users create a private profile where they can post their own research papers, lectures, papers, and articles. ResearchGate also has many of the features typical of social networking sites: the ability to exchange messages online, connect with other users on Internet forums, create blogs, and participate in virtual discussion groups.

Who seeks often finds. Records of tour operators and travel agents? List of people with building qualifications? Register of insurance agents? List of licensed doctors? You can easily find these and other industry entries online.
