World of Warcraft has officially announced Patch 10.1, Embers of Neltharion. This content update marks the initial patch in Dragonflight and adds a brand new zone, raid, and story chapter to World of Warcraft.
All throughout Dragonflight, players have found hints of secrets buried underneath the Dragon Isles. Now, it appears the heroes of World of Warcraft are going to be literally digging deep into draconic lore in Patch 10.1 because they enter Zaralek Cavern, an expansive underground zone once utilized by Neltharion as a base of operations.
As they explore the brand new World of Warcraft zone, players will come across the Niffen–a race of mole-like humanoids and also the fifth Renown faction of Dragonflight–who can help them navigate the subterranean caverns alongside a clan of friendly Drogbar. Players will explore volcanic caverns ruled by the Djaradin elders, sulfurous pools filled with failed experiments, and delightful crystalline caverns.
Embers of Neltharion also adds Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible, because of the second raid in Dragonflight.
